For nine weeks now, I’ve been clearing out the clutter, diving into virtually every nook and cranny in the house. The vast majority of this week’s items I have either sold on craigslist or am preparing to do so. It’s always nice when you can organize your house and make a little money, too.
Here’s this week’s stuff that is no longer needed, wanted or loved in our house:
1. Boy Scout pants, socks, two belts. End of an era, here. Both boys are Eagle Scouts (so we kept the shirts) but this stuff could clearly go. Doubt they could even fit into any of it at this point. Sold on craigslist.
2. American Girl mini dolls. Dear daughter has decided she’d rather have the cold hard cash. She’s growing up. Sigh. craigslist.
3. Corduroy Christmas dress. craigslist.
4. Several size 8 outfits for girls. craigslist.
5. Student microscope. craigslist.
6. Roller hockey equipment. Another end of an era. My college sophomore hasn’t hit the rink since middle school so it’s about time. craigslist.
7. Jewelry box. craigslist.
8. Tea set. craigslist.
9. Yet another small pile of clothing. Charity.
10. Stack of Sports Illustrated magazines. Gave these to a friend with a teen-age son.
What’s hidden in your closets?
