Downloading music to your iPod can be pricey. As a result, cheapie me listens to my same old tunes over and over again. They are the songs I downloaded via the CDs I already owned — before I stopped buying those!
So I always love it when I stumble across a free MP3 song download that I’m interested in.
Through Nov. 22, amazon.com is giving away a free song from Country Music Award-nominated artists, including titles from country/pop sensation Taylor Swift. (Thanks The Frugal Girls!)
Click here to download your FREE song. If you’ve never downloaded music form amazon.com before, you will have to install its MP3 download software. When you’re ready to check out, click on the button that says “Redeem a gift card or promotion code” and type in CMAAWARD.
I generally don’t like country music but my son Andrew and sweet Caroline absolutely LOVE Taylor Swift, for different reasons I’m presuming! Since they’ve got me humming her songs, I decided to download her song, ”You Belong With Me” from the album Fearless.
Amazon.com regularly gives away free music. If you’d like to be notified of these deals, sign up here for a weekly electronic newsletter.
Another giant retailer that regularly gives away free music is walmart.com. Click here to see the latest freebies on that site.
Got any other sources for free music? Do tell!

I do not like to get free downloads. The thing is reduced quality.
